We're parting ways with our 2021 Flagstaff MAC 228D pop-up camper, not because we dont love it, but because life is pulling us in new directions. This camper has been the heart of some of our best outdoor memories, and now it's ready for someone elses adventures.
What drew us to this model originally was the space and smart design. With two spacious slide-out beds (a king on one end and a queen on the other), there's plenty of room for the whole crew. The dinette and sofa also convert into beds, so you can comfortably sleep 6-8 people. It's perfect for families, road trips with friends, or anyone who loves camping without sacrificing comfort.
One of the standout features and a rare one in pop-ups is the built-in wet bath. Yup, it has a toilet and a shower, complete with a privacy curtain. If you've ever camped in the middle of nowhere and had to make do without, you'll know how game-changing this is.
The kitchen is compact but efficient, with a 2-burner stove, sink, mini fridge, and even a microwave. Whether you're heating up leftovers or making breakfast from scratch, it's all within reach. The slide-out dinette creates extra elbow room, and the large comfortable bench seating makes it feel roomy even on rainy days.

It's lightweight and easy to tow (dry weight is 2,448 lbs), so you dont need a massive truck to haul it. We've towed it with our Toyota Sienna mini-van without issue. Setup is quick, and everything from the pop-up mechanism to the stabilizers works as it should.
We've taken great care of it, and it's in excellent condition, clean, smoke-free, and ready to camp today. All systems work, and it's been stored indoors between trips. It fits in our normal sized garage!
