**Engine Mileage: 125,000 miles (Professionally Swapped, Gently Used Engine with upgraded parts)**

Hey there!

I'm selling my beloved ProMaster van that my wife and I built from the ground up to be our travel home back in 2018. It's been a fantastic companion for countless adventures, handling everything from sweltering hot days to sleeping comfortably in -20°F. Now, it's ready for its next chapter and a new owner to create their own memories in it.
Weve poured a ton of love and care into this van, and that includes making sure the engine is as reliable as the build-out. After a misfire on the original engine, I swapped the entire engine for a gently used one with just 125k miles on it and upgraded the common failure points.

The "Bulletproof" Engine & Maintenance:
Taking advice from a well-known ProMaster mechanic (Kip at Promasters Only in Barberton, OH), I went a step further and "bulletproofed" the engine to prevent all the common failures. Upgraded Components: The notorious plastic oil filter housing was swapped for a rock-solid, all-aluminum Dorman unit. I also replaced the plastic thermostat housing and coolant crossover pipe with metal versions from Dorman.
New Valvetrain: All rocker arms and lifters were replaced, eliminating the dreaded "Pentastar tick" and potential for misfires.
Recent Maintenance: Beyond the engine swap, this van is fresh off an oil change with full synthetic, a complete transmission fluid service, and a recent alternator replacement. The tires are also less than a year old with only about 6,000 miles on them.
In total, the upgraded engine parts were about $700 and labor would normally be ~$2,000.

Smart Layout: The swivel table with two benches is perfect for a meal or work and conveniently stows away under the bed.
All-Season Comfort: The van is well-insulated and features a diesel heater with a CO detector for warm, safe nights. On hot days, two Maxxair fans work in tandem to create a cooling "wind vortex."
Self-Contained Water: The water system is designed to be simple and hassle-free, with no cumbersome tanks mounted underneath. This makes winterizing, refilling freshwater, and emptying gray water a breeze. You even have an indoor shower a great storage closet when not in use!
Power for Days: A 225AH battery bank charges via roof-mounted solar panels on sunny days and is topped off by the van's alternator on long drives.
Safe & Simple Cooking: The dual-burner alcohol stove is a safe, non-explosive option, just like those used on sailboats. (Dometic Origo 3000) A 12V upright mini fridge/freezer keeps food cold or prevents it from freezing, no matter the weather (Norcold NR751BB)
Security: A secret kill switch by the drivers seat provides an extra layer of anti-theft protection.
