RV Description
Up for sale is our beloved '64 Airstream Sovereign there's nowhere for it to go at the new house, and I can't bear to just store it offsite for years and not have it be used. Over the course of three years, my wife and I rebuilt it from the ribs out (and in). Bellypan patches, all interior walls removed, new insulation and AC/DC wiring, a composting toilet, new fan, cabinetry and built ins. Original windows intact. Schoolhouse Electric fixtures, laminate wood flooring. Water still needs to be hooked up to sinks. Cool Dickinson Marine propane stove. Cooler, hot plate are easy adds to make the space flexible and optimize storage.
As always with these old beauts it requires maintenance, such as sealing gaps between panels, some tinkering here and there. Nothing the average person can't handle. We have some injured some skylights, but we can help get the buyer sorted out with replacement parts. Some water damage exists from over the years, but it can be addressed easily.
Queen bed in the rear with Casper mattress. Ample storage and plugs. Makes a great office, guest room, or midcentury outpost away from home. Airstreams. If you know, you know. Lovely patina, and it was the "bar" for our wedding. Many good memories it's time for someone else to take the baton!
I am looking to move this soon, and am open to offers. Let's not waste time.
