RV Description
Gently used and well maintained top of the line DRV Mobile Suites. This is a 2021 model that we purchased new in April 2022. If you are looking for quality, DRV is the way to go! My wife and I researched RV brands for over a year and decided what was important to us was independent suspension, disc brakes and dual pane windows. And I tell anyone asking, DO NOT BUY AN RV WITHOUT DISC BRAKES. This has saved us from at least 3 possible accidents by being able to stop quickly. Yes, you can pay for these upgrades with Grand Design and other brands, but by the time you do the cost is very similar. Plus with DRV you have standard 3 1/4" thick walls which gives thicker insulation, a heavier frame giving you sturdy comfort, and overall better quality. Also, I'm 6'3" and I don't have to duck going into the bedroom but in Grand Design I do.
Some upgrades we have are Whirlpool washer and dryer that work great. On our 1st 1 year anniversary we took our unit to the manufacturer in Howe, Indiana for 1st year maintenance items and upgraded the clear shower glass doors to rain glass. A nice upgrade! DRV also replaced our full size refridge w/icemaker and water dispenser so its just 2 years old. We have a stainless steel dishwasher to make clean-up quick and easy. 3-eye gas range with gas stove and full size microwave. A two compartment kitchen sink with a cover for each side offering lots of countertop space. After a year we upgraded the original RV king size mattress to a Wilderness Plush. It's perfect with the right amount of thickness, support and comfort! In August 2024 I upgraded the 2 6-volt lead batteries to 3 12-volt Eco-Worthy lithiums. I upgraded the converter as well. In spring 2025 we took our unit back to the manufacturer because we felt very comfortable and confident from our first visit that they do things correctly and honestly. To us, it's very much worth the trip. We had a small laundry list of mostly maintenance items like resealing all the roof joints. We had 4 new Continental 235/17s installed plus the spare to replace the original Goodyears. After DRV, we took it an hour down the road to MORryde. We upgraded the original Chinese made wheel bearings to US Made Timken. A far superior product. We learned the hard way with one wheel's bearings giving out on us. We also had the disc brakes reworked. With both MORryde and DRV, they double check everything while they have it in their facility. We are confident all systems are in great condition.
The family area includes a nice sofa with pull out bed that I have slept on. I can say it's honestly comfortable. There are 2 reclining chairs w heat and vibration modes. The large flatscreen sits over the beautiful fireplace. The wood tones are a light grayish/maple coloring instead of the dark brown colors. There are more cabinets and drawer space that we probably have only used half of them. The lights through-out are bright LEDs but with dimmer capabilities for added ambience. The bathroom is actually spacious with a large shower to accommodate any size. A full size washer and dryer tucked away in its own closet. And you'll be impressed with the spacious bedroom, comfortable king size bed, a 2nd flat screen TV, and a large cedar lined closet with your own private safe for valuables.
This unit has 2 ACs. Also an electric power cord reel for your 50 amp cord. It has 6 hydraulic jacks with auto-leveling. Lot's of storage both inside and out. In the photos I have included a spec sheet of weights and stats. If you aren't familiar with DRV, you will love it!
Any issues? There are a couple of light scratches and a ding in back quarter panel. They are minor and I will send you pictures if interested. One of the recliner headrests is showing age. And the roof is a rubber liner roof. I scraped a tree branch 3 years ago down the door side roof edge and have it sealed with Eternabond Seal tape. It has done a great job and never leaked. No other known issues.
We take 2 long trips twice a year and a couple nearby long weekends so it's been used 8-12 weeks a year and the rest of the time in storage. 3 1/2 years after purchasing this, we are so confident and comfortable with the product that we are simply selling this to buy another DRV. I have a 4500 W portable generator I can include with the right offer.
