The 2013 Open Range Light 297RLS is a fifth wheel camper that is built specifically for towing with a 1/2 Ton pickup and is designed so the hitch pin is located forward on the camper front to allow for 90 degree turning with a normal stationary fifth wheel hitch location. Also an important feature of this fifth wheel is the dry weight that was kept low at 7460 lb again for towing with a 1/2 ton pickup, the main reason that we purchased it!! It offers a luxurious and spacious camping experience with its sleek design and modern features, this model is perfect for those looking to enjoy the great outdoors without sacrificing comfort. Inside, the 297RLS boasts a well-appointed interior with high-end finishes and amenities. There are 2 large slide outs,(3 total), that make the living area very large and designed for relaxation, with 2 full size recliners, a 4 seat couch with a fold out queen sized powered air mattress. A ducted climate control A/C system, a large TV with an DVD/stereo/radio entertainment unit and below a cozy fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, gas stove and oven, microwave and plenty of storage space. The faucet at the kitchen sink has been upgraded for convenience. There is a locking wheel, 4 seat, roll out dining unit for enjoying meals together that doubles as a table with extra storage drawers that is located between the recliners when not in use for dining. The bedroom features an extra comfortable queen bed with hinged under bed storage and 2 side tables with even more storage. There is a large mirrored double closet that also has a full height chest of drawers on one end that is located in the third slide out. There is a large shower with all new fixtures, sink with storage underneath, toilet and large floor to ceiling linen closet. All of the 50 amp rated electrical system is in excellent working condition and the 55 amp power charger/converter has just recently been replaced.

Outside, the 297RLS features new Goodyear Endurance tires with alloy wheels, a brand new spacious awning for enjoying the outdoors. The roof has just had the old sealant removed and replaced and completely cleaned , coated and resealed. The exterior of the camper is stylish and aerodynamic, with a durable construction that will last for years to come and has just been cleaned and completely polished/sealed with a polymer sealer making look like new. All the incandescent taillights and running lights have been replaced with all LED taillights and LED running lights for years of maintenance free use. The 297RLS is easy to tow and maneuver, making it ideal for road trips and camping adventures. There are also additional touches including outdoor rugs, extra gas hookups that have been added for outdoor cooking and many other needed items that most people would have to go out and purchase are included for your convenience to make your first camping trip a pleasure not a hassle. This unit is in excellent condition and is extremely easy to setup/breakdown with powered leveling legs front and rear, it is a pleasure to use and an easy unit to maintain
