It's the only year the Eurovan Camper came with the superior Audi designed 5 cylinder engine with the timing belt. Can easily maintain 70mph and over - unlike other VW vans.

Included middle seat goes in-and-out easily for a variety of purposes. Over 17 MPG on trips. Runs strong for weekend trips to the beach, hot springs and many CA roadtrips. Very reliable.
