RV Description
Selling my beloved fully loaded Lance 650 as-is. Get a deal now and enjoy it today it is ready to camp but has some wear from all our trips.
Updated 11/11/25: Please review the FAQ at the end where I answer all of the questions I have gotten thus far. Interior pictures have been added. This is the fully loaded model and has many electric and propane run amenities which all operate as original.
I bought this in the spring of 2020 as the pandemic set in and we went on the road and we have used it for many trips since. I ran it in a modified 2018 F150 and the setup worked perfectly although this camper would be better suited to a 3/4 ton or larger truck like a 250 or 350.
The clean title is in hand. It comes with some of the accessories like parts of the TorkLift tie down and HappyJac turnbuckle. I also have all the documents and owners manuals that came with it all inside a Lance bag.
It has a new battery so it is ready to roll when you pick it up. There are some small items you may want to fix but it they are mostly cosmetic and the camper is ready to install onto a truck and camp as-is. The biggest issue is that the main retractable power awning took an accident and needs rebuilding and re-install but I'm fairly confident it could be rebuilt for less than $400 in parts versus replacing it for $1k or more.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is the weight?
I'm not sure of the actual weight but it is around 1800 pounds dry, according to the Lance website listing.
Are there any leaks?
There were 2 leaks around the bathroom fan and a fan hatch but I've fixed them.
Is this for a full size truck?
This would be best for a full-size truck but was designed to work on a F150 (half ton truck class) and is pictured on the F150 in the Lance marketing materials. With that said, I would not run it on a stock F150. I modified my F150 to make it work but it would be better suited for 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck. I'm happy to discuss more in depth what the F150 setup was should you be looking to use that as the base truck for this rig.
Is there solar?
There is a solar panel already installed, in addition to the onboard battery.
How much for rebuild and install of the awning?
The awning could likely be rebuilt if you bought the needed parts and I'd estimate it would cost under $400 for the needed parts. A new awning like that is over $1k.
What are the list of items to fix?
Other than the awning, there is very little that needs fixing and all electronic and propane run amenities currently operate as original. There are some small items in the bathroom (like the mirror magnet) and other tiny tasks but it is fine to use as-is, I just don't have time to make it "tight and right".
Were you able to close tailgate on your f 150?
Not on my 5.5 ft bed but you may be able to with a longer bed. I took my tailgate off to fit this camper on the F150.
Does this truck camper have a bathroom?
It does have a wet bathroom.
