RV Description
We are selling a barely used Jayco Jay Feather Micro 166FBS 2022. The beauty of this travel trailer is its ability to boondock! It is designed to safely go off-road with a built-in brush guard, high clearance, and off-road tires (they are in great shape, and it includes a spare). It has a very large freshwater tank, gray water tank, and black water tank that will give you plenty of off-grid time on your own. It is fully equipped with solar, including an additional 100-watt panel that we installed when we purchased the trailer new from a dealer. I encourage you to look at standard specifications so you can compare the upgrades we installed. We also installed side and back cameras to make driving safer, a computerized antisway system (Tuson Sway Control), a physical antisway bar, and a TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). The trailer tows and tracks wonderfully! The trailer comes equipped with internet via cellular or wifi, AC (Air Conditioning), and two refrigerators (One large 12V DC/gas unit inside and another 115 AC unit for beverages on the outside). Additionally, external propane hookups for your BBQ convenience. The unit comes with two 30lb propane cylinders with meters. Lastly, this trailer has a slide-out. The couch area opens up to create significantly more room (I forgot to take a picture). The sofa converts into a bed that two adults can (if they love each other a bunch) sleep on, or two younger children will have ample room to sleep and play.
We used the trailer once in a remote location to do astrophotography, and it performed like a champ. We spent five days with nothing but a great view of the Milky Way and no light pollution. Plenty of water and wastewater space! Other than boondocking, we used the trailer for beach RV park sites four times and Death Valley once. We love the trailer, but our largest towing vehicle is a Subaru Ascent. It can handle the towing load in reality and according to specifications, but something larger is better. The Ascent's max tow load is 5000 lbs, so the trailer is at the upper end of the car's capabilities.
This trailer is perfect for a couple or a small family with young children (2). It is a perfect way to travel while not breaking the bank.
