RV Description

Some time you just have to let something you love go to a new home. All my life I dreamed of owning an Airstream. We purchased this 25 foot Airstream in 2012.We repaired everything we could and replaced the flooring with Lifestyle tile that is easy to keep clean. Replaced some ugly lights with airstream lights (there were ugly lights in it.) I had the sofa reupholstered in Crypton fabric(5years ago) that will last forever . It is comfortable to sleep on and sit on. It is a neutral blue and beige fabric. We put a new awning on her (For some reason I have always referred to this

camper as a she.) Most of the wood finish inside is original ,I have maintained it with liquid Gold over the years. The heater ,stove, fridge and Air conditioner work fine. We have camped in freezing weather and at the beach in the heat and been very comfortable. We have had many a wonderful camping trip in this camper.

Here are the things that need some love: the windows need new gaskets. We always opened the door and the 3 windows in the ceiling for fresh air. And 2 of the skylights need new fans. We washed her but never polished her because we were blinded by an airstream on a trip when the sun hit the one in front of us and we couldn`t see a thing .It was like a laser beam in a mirror. That`s our personal choice. The air conditioner has a new cover complements of the hurricane last September.

My husband installed 3 racks to hold fishing rods over his bed( he loves to trout fish).

The only reason we are selling her is we bought a 30 foot 1982 Excella and have redone it completely. So I was informed by the head of our household that there was no reason for us to have 2 Airstreams. And I have to concede he is right. So if you have ever wanted to own a piece of history give us a call. I'm asking $25,000 but will consider a reasonable offer. If you want technical information text my husband (Jimmy) 706-595-4747 .You can contact me best by text(Kim) 706--799-6564). I`m sure i will cry when we sell her but It will be Sad/Happy( Sad that she is leaving, Happy that someone will love her like we did). After all She was my Dream come true ,but now we have her big sister to love and enjoy. Love to all my fellow Airstream Dreamers. Kim
