I did a lot of research when trailer shopping and decided on the Hike because it is made for off road travel. I also believe that Winnebago makes some of the best built trailers out there. I wont go into too much detail, but have added a link to the original brochure, and a Hike YouTube tour, so you can judge for yourself.

A few of the things that sold me on the Hike were:

A cool looking exoskeleton that you can attach bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, etc. to.

Walkable roof

High ground clearance

Larger, off road tires / Offset wheels for offroad stability

Power front hitch, slide out, awning and stabilizer jacks

A fully enclosed underbelly and heated tanks

A plywood tongue & groove floor no particle board here!!

100W attached solar panel (which I love!)

Extreme Weather pkg, Explorer pkg, Comfort Tech pkg

Kitchen slide out

Real wood cabinets, big dinette, big windows, dedicated bed

Full shower, not a dry bath

Sleeps 2-4

Cool, trendy neutral colored exterior and interior

I have used the Hike maybe 10 times. Its like new w/ no real wear, other than some of the exterior stickers fading out. Ive added a new second battery, 3 memory foam mattress pads, a few more shelves inside the cabinets; shelf bumpers so things don't fall out; a grey carpet runner. I've taken the bath door off and added a curtain to save interior space; and taken the interior bottom wooden skirt off the slide out, replacing it with curtains, to make for easier access to the workings there. I do have the original door and the wooden skirt, and can put them back on if you'd rather.

I love this trailer, but I am getting older and am thinking I need to start simplifying my life.

I believe this trailer is a great choice and deal!
