RV Description
Hey folks, were offering our gently used travel trailer for sale. We bought it new for $33,000 and probably spent another $4K+ on accessories, up-fitting it. This thing is ready to roll. We just got back from a trip with it a couple weeks ago and had a great time, so it is certainly not collecting dust.
But, because we have an electric car, the towing range is a challenge because EV range is zapped with towing. I don’t want to buy a new vehicle. So we've decided to get into the market for an electric travel trailer with its own battery pack and everything.
We’ve upgraded it with the back up camera, the BlueOx anti-sway bar, the slide awning, we bought another solar panel, which we havent had a chance to mount yet, but we will obviously give it to whoever buys the rig. Weve also put in very functional hooks and towel holders and installed a keypad lock for the sake of convenience. Im also including a bunch of accessories and things that you will invariably need for this particular RV that I wont be able to use for my next one because the build out is totally different.
Its got great off-road tires, so its done really well with some of our trips through the mountain and sandy beaches. The Geo pro itself is so durable and just really solid and well built. Even on windy nights at the Outer Banks, the breeze is quite nice and not loud or disruptive. All of the appliances work really well and weve had no issues with anything. Although the shower seems tight, its actually pretty functional and easy to get used to.
It has electric water heater and a gas water heater for the shower and sink, but the electric water heater is so good, we barely end up using the gas one.
Were very clean people so we have kept the black and gray water very consistently flushed out. Ive winterized it the past two years since having it, and flushed it out in the spring.
The RV has very easy app control with WeRv app, and power control with Go Power. It makes it really easy to monitor power consumption, and battery health, along with being able to control the slide and awning and lights various functions of the RV through your phone.
Were asking $27,000. We figure for a serious buyer, this saves you somewhere between $7-10K instead of going and getting a new one from a dealer. Weve already eaten the depreciation cost, and battle tested it for you, not to mention youll pay lower cost for insurance and lower taxes when you register it because youre buying it at a lower price than new.
Honestly, if I could do it all over again, I would still get a Geo Pro, but I would probably buy a used one instead.
Please let me know if youre interested. I know everybody is trying to get a good deal these days (as you should), but I really dont have much wiggle room with the numbers here - but if youre a serious buyer and want to make a serious offer, I will consider it.
Cheers,
Alex
