RV Description
Selling together: 2005 Ford F350 4x4 Bulletproofed 6.0 Diesel Dually (DRW) + S&S 4 Season Camper (S and S)
This is a great offroad camper setup. Get away from the crowds to camp in real wilderness this summer.
The truck:
The truck is a 2005 F350 Dually with a crew cab and 8 long truck bed. It has a little under 197,000 miles on it and runs strong. A gooseneck hitch has been installed, with a standard hitch underneath. This truck features the factory Fx4 offroad package, combined with a 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel motor that was Bulletproofed by the previous owner with ARP head studs, the Bulletproof EGR cooler, and the upgraded oil cooler and water pump. This truck has ridiculous power, and the auto transmission shifts beautifully, with zero issues.
Noteworthy features:
-No DEF required
-Passed smog with no problems 2/2025, registration up to date
-Upgraded K&N cold air intake
-New LED headlights
-40 gallon fuel tank
-Completely rebuilt AC system in 2022 or 2023
-All new steering linkage (all tie rod ends and power steering box)
The camper:
The camper is a highly revered S&S 4-season camper, built in 1998 in Kalispell, MT. This is a 9.5-ft model, meaning it hangs 1.5-ft off the back of the 8-ft truck bed (making the combined length ~23.5 ft. This model features 64 high ceilings, highly insulated walls, a queen-size bed over the cab, and a dinette that converts to roughly a full-size bed. We've always slept 4 comfortably. The bottom of the camper is an insulated basement that houses the black- and gray-water tanks, plus additional storage for longer items such as skis. The heater lines run along the pex piping to prevent freezing in cold weather. Theres a wet bath featuring a toilet, sink, and shower inside the camper, plus a separate outdoor shower head. Theres also a kitchen sink.
Noteworthy features:
-Metal roof
-Huge refrigerator/freezer that runs on propane.
-At least 300 watts of solar on top, connected to two 100Ah 12v deep cycle batteries on board.
-Stove/oven combo.
-The S&S bubble windows were professionally replaced with a diamond plate exterior and thick insulated panels on the inside. This is a great upgrade that keeps the over-cab sleeping area very dark and maintains a more consistent temperature, too.
-Storage for two large propane tanks (tanks included).
-Huge fresh water tank
-Propane furnace
-Propane water heater
-Sound system with CD player, featuring an auxiliary jack we would connect to our iPhones.
This truck and camper setup has been amazing for adventures with my wife and two kids. Weve camped in comfort in spectacular sites far from any campground. Bring along a fire pit and a fire permit, and you wont want to camp in a campground ever again! Weve traveled in this all over California and throughout the Southwest, and for our purposes its been perfect. With the solar and battery setup, weve never come close to running out of power. Theres no AC in the camper, but weve rarely if ever camped anywhere with hookupsso an AC unit wouldnt have done us any good. There is a huge diesel tank and a solid 4WD system on the truck, so you can relax as you venture far from civilization.
