RV Description

Meet your next adventure companion: a 2017 JAYCO Precept 31UL, a luxury Class A motorhome with just 22,555 miles—barely broken in and ready for the open road. This coach offers the perfect combination of low-mileage reliability, high-end upgrades, and thoughtful extras, making it ideal for anyone looking to skip the dealer markup and jump straight into a well-maintained, road-ready RV.

Step inside and you’ll find a spacious, inviting interior designed for both comfort and convenience. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for making meals on the go, and the cozy bedroom includes extra storage space for longer journeys. A motorized pop-up TV in both the living room and the bedroom makes movie nights easy, while a large exterior awning with built-in LED lights provides the perfect spot to relax outside. Prefer to enjoy the game outdoors? The exterior TV has you covered.

This motorhome features a powerful engine that offers a smooth, confident drive and is fully capable of towing your vehicle with ease. Built with a sleek design and durable construction, it includes ample exterior storage for all your gear, whether you're weekend camping or heading cross-country.

One of the standout upgrades is the Truma tankless water heater, offering endless hot showers—no more quick rinses or cold surprises. You’ll also receive over $3,000 worth of premium camping gear included in the sale, such as cookware, sewer hoses, a surge protector, a Traeger grill, and more. It’s truly ready to hit the road today.

The RV is in great shape overall, with just a few minor issues that have already been factored into the price. On our last outing, we noticed the rear A/C wasn’t blowing quite as cold as it should. There’s also some wear on the captain’s chairs and a few LED lights that could use replacing. All other appliances, including the fridge, generator, furnace, and the front A/C, are working like new. We’ve kept up with regular maintenance, including oil changes and the installation of a new windshield in 2020.

Buying from a private seller has its perks—you’ll save over $15,000 compared to dealership pricing, where this same model often lists for upwards of $75,000. You’ll also avoid $2,000–$3,000 in dealer fees and hidden charges. Plus, there’s no pressure. I’m a retired U.S. Air Force pilot and we’re simply downsizing since our daughter no longer camps with us. The RV just isn’t getting the use it deserves anymore.

We camped in it just a few days ago, so it’s fully functional and ready for your next trip. If you’re interested, test drives and inspections can be arranged—just reach out. I’m happy to help with financing paperwork if you’re going through your bank or credit union. This is a rare opportunity to own a premium Class A motorhome in great condition, fully equipped, and priced to sell.
