RV Description

Clean and very well maintained 2008 Itasca Navion. Floor plan is a 24J with sleeping area above the cab, a main rear corner bed and a slide out in the middle for table/dining area with ample seating for 4. The table/dining area can also convert to an extra bed to sleep a maximum of 5 or possibly 6 (considering children). This is a great layout for a family of 3 or 4. We have enjoyed many amazing trips since purchasing in 2021 and are upgrading to a larger RV due to a growing family. There is ample storage including a wardrobe closet, pantry cabinets above table, and large container space under the main bed. Kitchen includes a custom sink and a three burner stove with custom cutting board covers and convection oven/microwave. When we purchased the RV, it had storage cabinets above the cab which we removed and converted to a bed with side rail for safety. The main mattress in the rear is a very thick high quality memory foam and extremely comfortable for two adults. The bathroom has an enclosed toilet and shower with exterior sink for convenience.

This RV is turnkey with no major issues and runs perfectly. Mercedes diesel 3.0L engine gets about 14 mpg and runs perfectly. The suspension upgrades listed below make a huge difference in ride.

Diesel generator (approx 460 hours).

Comes with 1 year old Edco cover.

Wired for solar panels, we use a 200 W portable solar panel that works perfect for boondocking in the summer. House batteries connected to Victron Smart Shunt to monitor charge (much more accurate than original battery monitor)

This isnt a typical 2000s era RV, we have done a lot of upgrades and maintenance as follows. Regular maintenance like oil change, fuel filter, etc. were also performed per schedule.

October 2021 (59,000 miles)
Dealer installed new tires.

July 2022
Replaced refrigerator ($1800)
Replaced rooftop A/C unit ($900)
Had cab A/C unit maintained

August 2022
Had alternator and chassis battery replaced
Had glow plugs replaced

November 2022- suspension upgrade ($1500 for parts)
Replaced sway bar with Helwig Sway Bar
Replaced front struts with Bilstein struts
Replaced rear shocks with Agile Off Road Fox 2.5 shocks

July 2023
Replaced slide out exterior cover fabric

March 2024
Had Borg valve stems added. This allows tire pressure to be checked and refilled without removing the exterior real wheels.

July 2024
Replaced awning fabric
Replaced house batteries
Added solar charge controller, can plug in portable solar panels
Added Victron Smart Shunt (monitor battery charge on phone via bluetooth)

Other minor upgrades/ fixes: replaced all rear tail light lens caps, they were aging and cracking. Also replaced the tail lights with LED lights which last longer and dont burn as hot. Yearly buffing/waxing. Replaced several aging fuel lines and hoses. Many of the exterior graphics were replaced over the last couple years. Also added a relay switch so chassis starter battery charges when RV is hooked up to 120V power.

Known issues are the cab A/C is not blowing very cold air. Also, the plastic handle for the overhead skylight is cracked. It closes and seals fine but doesnt open smoothly.
