The 2020 Forest River Salem Hemisphere GLX 283RK is a luxurious, feature-packed travel trailer designed with comfort, convenience, and versatility in mind. With a length of 34' 9" and a dry weight around 7,024 pounds, this camper is easily towable by many half-ton trucks, while still delivering high-end amenities usually found in larger units.

As you step through the entry door, you're greeted by a wide-open living space due to a large slide-out. This slide houses a tri-fold sleeper sofa and a free-standing dinette with four chairs. Across from the sofa are a pair of push back recliners. Panoramic windows flood the space with natural light providing excellent views.

The rear kitchen layout is one of the standout features of the 283RK, providing ample countertop space for meal prep and cleanup. It includes solid-surface countertops, a residential-style undermount sink with high-rise faucet, a three-burner gas range with oven, a large 10.7 cu. ft. 12 volt refrigerator, and a microwave. There’s also a wealth of cabinetry for pantry items, dishes, and kitchen essentials. The design is efficient and allows for easy flow while cooking or entertaining.

Across from the kitchen, adjacent to the main entrance, is an entertainment center featuring a large LED TV, Jensen stereo, and electric fireplace. This central entertainment hub can be easily viewed from both the sofa and dinette, making movie nights or rainy days comfortable and enjoyable. The fireplace not only adds ambiance but also provides supplemental heat to keep the trailer cozy on cooler evenings.

Moving toward the front of the trailer, you'll find a spacious bathroom on the left side of the hallway. It includes a residential-style walk-in shower with sliding Nautilus door, a foot-flush toilet, a large vanity with sink, and a mirrored medicine cabinet. There’s also additional linen storage and plenty of space to move around, making it more functional than typical RV bathrooms.

The master bedroom, located at the front of the camper, offers privacy and comfort with a true residential queen bed, dual nightstands with USB ports and power outlets, and ample wardrobe space. There’s also under-bed storage. Pull shades and ducted A/C vents ensure the room stays comfortable and private.

Exterior features of the 2020 Salem Hemisphere GLX 283RK are just as impressive. It comes equipped with a power tongue jack, electric stabilizer jacks, and a large 20-foot power awning with LED lighting. Outside speakers bring the entertainment under the awning. An outside shower adds convenience for cleanup. A spare tire is mounted to the rear bumper for extra safety. The fiberglass exterior, aluminum-framed construction, and fully enclosed underbelly provide durability and extend your camping season into cooler weather. An outdoor kitchen with a mini fridge, sink and bumper mount grill adds convenience for outdoor cooking and entertaining.
