2000 Ford 350, 7.3 diesel and 1999 Newmar County Star Fifth-Wheel RV
These were bought new together and have been together each year since.
The truck has 218,000 miles and comes with a full maintenance history. The 7.3 has a reputation for extreme durability with many of them reaching more than 600,000 miles before overhaul. This engine is very strong and smooth and pulls the fifth wheel like it enjoys it. During winters it has been in California or Mississippi and not subjected to road salt. It was recently serviced and is turn-key ready to travel.
Bodacious The Fifth Wheel, was built with Newmar craftmanship. It features porcelain toilet and sink, a 12 foot slide out, washer-dryer, fold out couch for company and a tire minder system. The heat pump/air conditioning unit was recently replaced. A new double recliner with heat/massage and phone charger was also installed recently. A generator is permanently installed in the truck bed for boon docking. Earlier, it was treated to a uniquely designed $18,000 paint job and upgrade by Xtreme Paint and Graphics of Natchitoches, Texas, and we get complements each time we travel in it. In October it received $5,000 worth of upgrades and servicing by at Mountaineer RV. It is ready to travel.
