This isnt just an Airstream its a design icon and a cherished part of our familys adventures. The 2008 International CCD 16 DWR (Design Within Reach) Edition is one of only 89 ever made, a special collaboration between Airstream, renowned designer Christopher C. Deam, and modernist retailer Design Within Reach. Its a sleek, compact, and highly collectible travel trailer that perfectly blends form and function ideal for national parks, off-grid boondocking, or turning heads at every campground.

Loved, Used, and Ready for the Next Chapter

This little Airstream was perfect for our small family. We have loved every moment of our adventures it's traveled through Oregon, Washington, Montana, and all over Colorado. It tows beautifully behind a midsize SUV and, because we needed more storage space while traveling, we had Airstream of Colorado install a custom front-mounted rack.

The rack holds a 2,000 - 3,000 watt generator (rarely needed thanks to the solar panel and house battery)

Also great for fuel, firewood, or overflow gear

Removable if you want a cleaner look when not in use

We also added a Prodigy Tekonsha proportional trailer brake controller, which comes with the unit. It's one of the most trusted systems on the market, offering smooth, responsive braking with adjustable settings and real-time diagnostics.

Additional thoughtful upgrades include a grey water diverter valve under the kitchen sink (to conserve tank capacity when boondocking), and a deep-cycle battery replaced in October 2024.

We're now shifting gears in life and, while its bittersweet to let it go, it's ready for a new home and new adventures.
