Seats 4, sleeps 3, and our family is now larger. Here it comes-

Four-season off-grid true 4x4. RoamRig Stage 3 Lithium battery upgrade with alternator that charges to full after 2hrs of drive or 3hrs of idling, and gives 8hr AC on __WHILE__ cooking on inductive cooktop. Cassette toilet so no black tanks to deal with. Induction cooktop, hot shower and sink; actually hardwall bathroom where you can comfortably do your business behind a door, not behind a curtain.

Bed goes up/down; Solar panels keep the battery topped off and enough to power lights and fridge (for cooking, uses more energy hence you'll need to run your engine maybe once a week if you are off-grid).

Actual 4x4 (there is a button to turn engage front axle), but I never got to use it because I never got to actually go off-road. This vehicle was a highway cruiser mostly between Nor Cal and So Cal, and a couple of trips to Yosemite and Yellowstone in the summer. Never seen any appreciable snow (besides a couple of small patches in Reno, NV).

Exterior upgrades:

1) OWL VANS ladder+tire carrier, storage box with 2x bike rack. (Box is perfect for that extra canister of fuel).

2) Rear diff skid plate (never needed, unfortunately)

Interior upgrades:

1) privacy curtain - best upgrade ever. Complete blackout which allows stealth boon-docking in city street.

2) paper towel holder

3) mesh driver/passenger window covers to prevent mosquitoes

Services done:

Serviced at Mercedes Fremont for chassi, and Leale's then San Carlos AutoWorks for RV stuff

1) new brakes / rotors at 78k

2) oil changes at 20k intervals or less, most recent at 78k

3) new BFG KO2 tires (at around 75k)
