RV Description

Here's a super-clean Concord Coachmen 300TS for sale just in time for summer! I've cared for this coach for ~4 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of travel! However, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. This Coach was meticulously maintained by the original owner and I've followed in their footsteps. When not in use, it's been stored indoors away from the Texas sun! Aside from the standard options, I've added the following, of which I'd like to tell you, has made traveling across this great country of ours, much-much more enjoyable! I'll start with steering and suspension upgrades. All four shock absorbers have been upgraded with Koni Shocks. While I was underneath the Coach, I replaced the factory lower control arm springs from Sumo, and a steering stabilizer from Sate-T-Plus. If that wasn't enough, I replaced both front and rear anti-sway bars offered by Road Master. My reviews can be found on etrailer.com website - all of which were positive! Although these upgrades cost thousands of dollars, I can honestly say it reduced driver fatigue, and has made this Coach a joy to drive, so it was worth every penny. Once the suspension was upgraded, I had it professional aligned by the best in Texas - Briscoe Tire & Alignment located in Denton Texas. This 300TS rides on a Chevrolet 4500 series chassis, which comes with a very-very reliable 6.0l engine. I've completed oil and filter changes every 5k miles and have used Mobile 1 synthetic oil and filter. At every oil change I would inspect the serpentine belt, and to date there's no signs of wear. Although, I bought a brand-new one to have as a backup just in case. The exterior full-body paint shines on and on with the help of Griots Garage spray-on polymer wax. It's more expensive than other brands, however, it truly makes a difference. I resealed the roof seams last year, and to date, the seams look great and there are zero leaks throughout the interior. Speaking of the interior - all of the seats, (all of them), have been professionally recovered by Travis Upholstery in Royce City Texas. Travis and his team hand cut & stitched every seam, to include all window coverings. There were no aftermarket covers installed here; all were made from yards of good quality material, and will last a very long time. At the time this was very costly, however, I did the right thing for this Coach and it's truly made travel life much-much more enjoyable. The driver and passenger front windows have been professionally tinted, and wow, what a difference it made in overall interior temperature! I replaced the original radio with a top rated one from Crutchfield. This Kenwood head unit offers a back up camera, right and left turn signal cameras, satellite radio, and Apple Car-Play - a real game changer for long drives. Theres also a dash cam installed behind the rearview mirror for your protection while traveling. This unit has an SD card and video footage is easily transferred to your phone within minutes. Although, all State Parks advertise safe drinking water, I installed a purified drinking water filter located at the kitchen sink. Trust me, you'll taste the difference in your morning cup of coffee! I also replaced the kitchen sink and bathroom faucet. Speaking of the bathroom, I replaced the old plastic toilet with a porcelain one from made by Lippert, and also installed a bidet style toilet seat from Costco. There's also a Dirt Devil central vacuum that has a ~20' hose and will reach this Coach from end to end. It's really sucky! (Those who know the Christmas movie reference will laugh ...!!) I replaced the house batteries in 2023, however, I disconnect the negative cables when not in use, so there hasn't been an issue with house battery power. Speaking of power, this has a 4kw Onan generator with only 30 hours of use. The original owners never used the generator, so you know what happened to the carburetor - Yep it was gummed up, so I replaced it with a factory Onan original. I even went as far as to install a fuel shut off valve, so you can run the carburetor dry to eliminate that from happening in the future. I four-down towed a CJ7 Jeep by way of a Blue Ox Tow System, and honestly I didnt even know it was back there. The 6.0l Chevrolet engine does an outstanding job and gets 10 mpg on regular 86 octane fuel. This Coach has a 55 gallon fuel tank and will go over 500 miles on a tank of fuel. Now on to the included accessories, there's a propane grill and a propane gas fire pit. And yes - you can run both at the same time, all thanks to a propane splitter offered by etrailer.com. You can watch your favorite movie outside while grilling steaks by the campfire - and the best part is, you don't have to buy or carry firewood! Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read my write up on this outstanding Coach! I've tried my absolute best to tastefully upgrade and thoroughly maintain this Coach and the time has come for me to pass it along to the next! I have over 200 photos and a driving video I can email to any one of interest. Thank you!/
