The marriage of the Airstream RV Atlas design with the Mercedes 3500 chassis results in a luxury travel experience in this class C motorhome.

The use of the Murphy bed with slide-out results in an adaptable living space. With the slide-out extended and the Murphy bed let down, the space is a comfortable queen size walk-around bed. When the Murphy bed is put away, the remaining leather base can be used as a daybed or can become a comfortable leather sofa with extended leg support by pushing a button. All three configurations can be used with the slide-out extended or retracted.

The two leather captain chairs in the Mercedes chassis cab can be rotated 180 degrees if extra seating is required. This results in a seating capacity of 4 with the sofa. All seats and bed configurations have direct visual access to the LED 40 Smart HDTV with soundbar on a power lift. These different configurations illustrate the flexibility of the RV design.

The bathroom is at the rear of the unit and is separated by a sliding door resulting in an isolated roomy space. With the door closed, one has private access to the shower, toilet, sink, mirror, clothes closet, and other storage compartments.

The kitchen area includes a convection microwave oven, two burner cook-top, sink, pantry, and storage. The 9.2 cu. ft. compressor refrigerator and separate freezer is efficient due to the 12V compressor and high capacity, long life Lithium Ion batteries which eliminate any concerns about the temperature of stored foods.

All said, this design provides a sense of more living space than other Class C floor plans.

The power, efficiency, and reliability of the Mercedes 3.0 V6 Turbo diesel engine on a 3500 chassis is amazing and yields 16-18 mpg. The 24.5 length is short enough to park in a normal parking lot and eliminates the need for a tow vehicle.

This unit has logged only 10,700 miles. The condition of the RV is exceptional due to diligent, regular scheduled maintenance, any recall, and indoor storage in a dedicated space when not on the road. The interior has a clean, fresh smell due to regular cleaning and no smoking. All the systems are in good working condition and the owner has records documenting all maintenance work.
