This 2004 Newmar Dutchstar on a Spartan chassis had been our full time home for a little over 5 years before we settled in a house. Life has kept us from getting back on the road, and we would like to see the motorhome help someone else get on the road and enjoy the RV life.
The 3 slides really open up the motorhome to a comfortable living space, with a large open family room, pass through kitchen, large shower/tub, and queen bed in the back. In the bedroom is a combination washer/dryer. There is ample storage space inside and below with pass through storage and slide out drawers.
There are several large windows on 3 sides to take in the beautiful views (especially wonderful is having the windshield overlooking the ocean). Much of the interior has been remodeled with bright Caribbean colors and boho decor providing an inviting homey atmosphere. All interior lighting has been converted to LED extending battery life while keeping the inside bright. Many appliances have been already been replaced (both AC and thermostat, hot water heater, etc).
Outside, the Onan generator works great to keep the motorhome cool on the road or if you want to be offgrid. The RV comes with custom fitting vinyl skirting that snaps on to keep warm even in mountain winters. There is an available tow dolly that we had used for our toad.
Please be advised that some house battery wiring needs to be replaced (Estimate $1,000 in parts) and is built into the pricing. There was a default ground that fused some wires when house batteries were reattached after a winter. This will require some ceiling panels and walls in the bedroom to be removed and replaced. Due to surgeries, I don't have the ability to do this work myself, so someone else can benefit from my loss. The bones of this RV are still great and this is a perfect opportunity for someone that's a little handy.
