• Service network: nearly 3,000 Ford dealers nationwide, against a few hundred Sprinter-certified locations concentrated in metro areas. Any mechanic who can work on an F-150 can work on your Transit chassis. Parts stocked everywhere.
• Power without aftermarket parts: Ford's factory second alternator delivers 250A and charges the house battery at up to 200A. A factory part, warrantied by Ford. Sprinter builds need aftermarket alternator upgrades - multiple brands that have to communicate, a specialist for each, none of it warrantied by Mercedes.
