RV Description

I have decided to sell my Trek. A few details are as follows: I have owned the RV for about 3 years, I am the third owner, the second owner bought from original seller a few months after it was purchased new. The second owner has been a family friend and I know how the Trek has been treated. The RV is currently in Pensacola, FL, spent most of it's life in Central Florida traveling to gator games and camping adventures. I purchased it to travel with my kids for sports and tailgating, and taken a few vacations in it. The reason I am selling are my kids are going off to college and I do not have a need for it anymore.

Model: 2000 Trek Safari 2830 Extra Large Galley, added VCR / Window Awnings / Wood Plank Floors and Mural on rear of coach.

Engine / Chassis: 454 CID Gasoline / Workhorse P-32

Transmission: 4L80E GM Hydramatic

Mileage: 49,750

Generator Hours: 775

Tires are less than a year and a half old, approximately 7500 miles on them.

Price: $15,000OBO

Since I have owned the Trek, I have had two issues with it, a $15 dollar sensor and a break switch went out. It is a solid RV mechanically sound. It is 25 years old, so it is not perfect. I have had it serviced, I do know the cab ac, fridge and rooftop ac has been replaced or rebuilt on our around 2018. Everything works as it should, except what I list below.

Issues / Concerns:

1. The Generator will need to be replaced or attended to if you plan to use it regularly. I have had issues in the Florida heat with it vapor locking, you can google if you are not familiar. It will run if you are not running down the road where the vehicle is generating more heat, or if it is not hot outside. I generally have it plugged in, so I do not use it much. I have added an additional fuel pump at the rear for the generator and also wrapped / housed the fuel line within another line to shield from the heat.

2. The exterior window seals that sandwich between the glazing over time and with heat have been displaced and deformed. They do not leak that I am aware of, but if you are wanting to fix everything, this may be something you will want to do.

3. As I mentioned above, this is 25 year old RV, it has blemishes in the clear coat and a few other blemishes in the paint.

4. There are a few pieces of wood near the fridge that buckled when I had some ice melt, can be re-sanded and sealed. The upholster is in descent shape.
