1994 Foretravel U300 40-foot diesel pusher

It runs and drives and is located in northwest Whatcom County.

I bought this motorhome with the sole purpose of living in it full time. It is currently best suited for that role.

Powered by a 8.3 liter Cummins turbo straight six with an Allison transmission, full air suspension, self-leveling, good tires all around. Queen size bed, walk through bath floorplan, large refrigerator, gas stove, dine-in kitchen, side entry, with living room.75-gallon propane tank, 150-gallon fuel tank, onboard water storage, clean, grey, and black. This was a very expensive rig when new. Foretravel built each coach from the ground up as a single body and frame.

Modifications: Removed the entire sliding cargo tray in the main storage bay. (It was damaged) Removed the built-in vacuum system Removed both of the roof mounted A/C units. Removed the diesel generator, Armored the roof with aluminum diamond plate. Painted the coach (I was a little creative and you will either love it or hate it.) The solar system is in storage and all the house batteries are no longer in the coach. I had grand plans for this rig and can help the new owner get things in order. I know this motorhome inside and out and can fix/repair anything

It needs the following repairs: The awnings are in bad shape The hydraulic pump that runs the main cooling fan is slightly out of alignment. The fuel lines need to be replaced. The previous owner was a diesel shop who took it on trade did a full in chassis rebuild. New pistons, rings, gaskets, and the engine purrs. However, the fuel lines are original, and I think it would be prudent to have them replace if going on the road. The drivers and passenger seat upholstery are in bad shape. I have never used the wash/dryer unit. The refrigerator is finicky, it works fine but the pilot light occasionally goes out.

I wanted/needed an off the gird tiny house and this was the solution I came up with. Full size motorcoach–Self-contained–self-propelled–has everything you need, heating, power, water, plumbing, lighting, security. I lived in this coach full time for about 18 months.

I no longer need this coach. It pains me to sell it at all but keeping it in storage makes no sense. This coach is better suited as a full-time off grid residence than it is as a road going motorhome. With the A/C delete it will take a lot to make it workable for a hot climate.
