RV Description

1997 Foretravel 36’ U295. Just 103,000 miles, mid-life tires, like new awnings. Recent FULL servicing to the chassis, the Cummins 8.3 engine, the Allison 6-speed transmission, and the 10K diesel Kuboda gen (550 hrs). Being a Foretravel it is a feature-rich luxury tank, yet its year retains mechanical simplicity—no leaky slides to maintain, no DEF to buy, no delicate computerization to interrupt a trip. Interior is all original, but not a single tear, stain, or wear mark. Corian is like new and compliments the solid cherry cabinetry. Outside physical condition is excellent, but the decals are weak. All windows (dual-pane) have excellent glass, but three are showing signs of “snaking” (no condensation, and easily replaced if desired). Unique features include solar panels (705 watts) which, coupled with the huge tanks, gives endless boondocking power. Upgrades include: A new countertop dishwasher (saves tons of water); top-load washer with portable electric dryer; custom solar-shield windshield panels; two 12v color TVs with 12v Blu-ray players (audio through the Bose surround sound) all able to stream with the included TravelFi portable wifi; a large wireless CarPlay monitor compatible with any smart phone; original back up camera plus a full color Hi Def rear and side camera system. All interior lights now LED, and a complete King Dome satellite system is installed (I’ve never used). Joey slides in basement. Will be sold with full fuel (149 gallons), full propane, and many spare parts. “Just add water” and drive it to Alaska TODAY. This is that top-of-the-line older diesel pusher that so many dream of: Rock-solid condition for 10% of the new price. Recent VIN background check shows no flaws in some 54 categories. If you are not familiar with Foretravel, please Google and discover what an upper-tier RV it is (the company is still in business, and the MotorCade Club is amazingly active and supportive). If you want to chat or would like more pictures, please do not hesitate to call or write. Thank you for viewing my listing.
