RV Description

Wolf Creek truck campers are built by Northwood Manufacturing in La Grande, Oregon. Check out the factory tour and “K shadow frame” construction technique on the YouTube video included in the photos. The cover of the 2016 sales brochure (also included in the photos) shows a Wolf Creek mounted on a Ford F-150 (half-ton) pickup truck, but one generally sees these rigs mounted on ¾ ton trucks. Our ¾ ton, without any after-market modifications, carries this camper flawlessly. We are the original only owners of this 2016 Wolf Creek 850. No one has ever smoked in it and no pets have ever seen the inside of it. This truck camper has never leaked and has always been stored under cover. Everything works properly as it should. As delivered to the dealer, standard equipment included:

  • AM/FM/CD Player w/Bluetooth
  • Dual 12 volt deep-cycle marine ‘house’ batteries (recently replaced)
  • Rear Awning
  • Electric Jacks with wireless remote (and backup wired remote)
  • 5 CU’ Fridge w/Insert Panels
  • 3 burner propane range
  • Cute little propane oven below range
  • Dual 5 gal LP Tanks w/ auto changeover and visual indicator
  • Exterior Shower
  • Heated Holding Tanks
  • Roof Rack & Ladder
  • Sewer Hose Storage
  • Utility Light on driver’s side (where the utility hookups are:-)
  • Porch light (rear)
  • Fantastic Fan/Vent
  • Thermostatically controlled propane heater allows cozy winter camping in the coldest of weather w/o freezing water lines.
  • Loads of other cool features.
Weirdly, the following three items were not included, so we had the dealer add:
  • Hot water heater bypass
  • House battery isolator switch
  • t-fitting off the water tank (for winterizing)
The camper came from the factory prewired for cable TV, satellite TV, broadcast TV, solar panel(s), roof A/C, heat pump, and other cool stuff. I’ve plugged my solar panel to the solar input plug on the roof with successful results, but haven’t yet done the permanent mount.
