RV Description

You are looking at a 1970 Avion V26 Ultra travel trailer (it is a 23 ft trailer – back in the day, they counted the tongue). This trailer is in excellent condition – last trip was to Yellowstone – it is ready to pass to its next owner and go on the next adventure. This is a very good trailer for a couple or small family. It does have a clean VA title and current safety inspection. I do have a copy of the owner’s manual for this trailer (it can be quite entertaining since it is from 1970).While it does look like an Airstream, it is not. If you are curious, here is the story behind the Avion travel trailer: http://www.silveravion.com/history.html . Very few of the Ultra models were made which makes this trailer rare. The Ultra has a larger fridge, a four-burner stove (with oven), and other amenities. Condition of specific parts of the trailer:Running gear: Tires, wheel bearings, and brakes (self adjusting) were replaced a little less than three years ago. The rubber springs and shocks were replaced about 2.5 years ago. The air conditioner (Coleman MachQ) was replaced two years ago – it has a new electronic control last year. The refrigerator was rebuilt two years ago. Front sub-floor and most flooring replaced two years ago. All lights are upgraded to LEDs. Ceiling seams were scraped and re-sealed two years ago. The propane regulator (and switch) were replaced two years ago. Battery was new last year. The front rock guard (to protect the front windows) was added last year. Radio was added two years ago. Front cushions re-upholstered two years ago. I added a folding counter extension for the microwave two years ago. Two years ago we purchased new mattresses and added 4” foam toppers. Mattress protectors and linens in photos convey. It does need a new igniter for the fridge (when traveling, I light the fridge by hand now) and the fridge light does not work – I have a new one that needs to be installed. The furnace does not work although we use a small ceramic heater (which works well). The fresh water and black tank level indicators do not work (I think I broke a wire when I put in the radio). We also have a folding table that we use to save space. I do have the original – both will be included. It does weigh about 5,000 lbs dry and has a 2 5/16 ball. I have a Husky weight distribution and sway control hitch that I will include with the trailer. Air bag hitch can also be discussed.
