We have loved this trailer since getting it new.  Some of the features that sold us on this trailer are... ...the large panoramic windows when sitting in the main area, Grand Designs use of pretty much every space possible, the additional counter space, the space to entertain (pretty easily had 6 adults and 3 kids inside for a meal if needed when camping with friends), easily towable with 3/4 ton gas truck we had that, and the fact that it was a 90+ degree day when we looked at it a second time but when the windows opened the cross breeze made it comfortable.
Unfortunately, with some life changes hopefully coming (moving to a different state and hopefully going full time for a while) we have decided having something with a garage is going to be better for us. We are upgrading to a toy hauler and have our 2020.5 Grand Design Reflection 31mb to sell. This is the half year model so it has the major changes (interior colors, exterior color, black out shades, along with others), but is a pre-covid model.
We added the following:
- crank down stabilizing jacks at the rear of the trailer
- slide toppers on all 3 slides
- drinking water filtration / separate faucet at the kitchen sink
- window in the door with between the glass shades
- water hookup in the outside cubby for dishwasher (never figured out how to get it tied into drain so we drained the dishwasher into a bucket or sewer tote)
- insulation insets for bathroom and bedroom vent
- replaced kitchen skylight cover with a new smoked cover
- maxxair vent covers for bathroom and bedroom vents
- TV in main bedroom
- upgrade 10" thick foam mattress in main bedroom
- backup camera with monitor in truck
- RV lock keypad at entry door (current keypad is cracking but can be replaced)
- all storage area locks Keyed alike to RV lock
- RV Airflow system
The trailer is just about ready to have a new family enjoy her.
- water system is dewinterized and sanitized
- roof has been cleaned and checked
- upgraded bathroom sink faucet
- installed soft close toilet seat
I am continually going through all the spring checks / cleaning to have it ready for camping right away when she gets adopted.
There were two recalls that were recently completed. 1 for a heat shield behind the microwave and 1 to check the wiring on the fridge.
There are 2 extended warranties still on the trailer. 1 is for the exterior coatings / interior fabrics, and the other is for the tires. I will get more on those, but they expire at the 5 year mark, which is in September.
