RV Description

Perfect for a couple, this floor plan separates the bedroom from the living room so one can sleep while the other has coffee in the morning. This coach has been maintained at Mercedes dealers and all recalls and updates have been done by them. The exterior is white fiberglass type panels and decals. It has been kept clean and all seams and joints have been maintained - no leaks. The wheel covers are new and are made of polished stainless steel. The tires are protected by a Tire Pressure Monitoring System with sensors mounted on stainless steel valve stems that make airing tires easier than stock stems. There is a 160-watt solar panel on the roof with a Victron bluetooth charge controller and a Tri-metric meter for monitoring house battery charging. The solar panel also keeps the engine battery charged.Inside, the second bed that was over the cab has been removed and some cabinet doors have been installed to provide lots of extra interior storage space. The original TV mount put the TV in an uncomfortable position for watching and it required that half of the available storage space over the cab be left clear so it could swing out. A new TV mount has been installed that allows the TV to slide out over the entry door and is much more comfortable to watch. It does not require much space. The new cabinet doors were installed with a minimum of modification to the original interior so that they can be removed without leaving any evidence and the bed could be restored by only adding a mattress. The dual recliners are new and the table is specially designed to make the most of the limited space: each side expands or contracts and slides to be near or far for eating or working. In the toilet and shower we added a toilet-seat bidet and a mat in the shower that keeps your feet out of puddles. The mileage varies but driving without towing a car and going about 65 mph usually is about 15 mpg. Towing our 4WD Chevy Tracker (2800 pounds) reduces it to about 12.
