2021 Black Series HQ15 Overland Trailer

Black Series Campers is a family-owned, off-road camper manufacturer based in Australia that has been in business for 10 years. During that time, they’ve produced over 30,000 units. Offering both soft-sided pop-up campers and hard-sided models (and at least two hybrids), Black Series Campers has 12 different models to choose from, ensuring that aspiring adventurers can find something that fulfills all of their needs.

The exterior of the HQ15 features an aerodynamic, cone-nose design. It is outfitted with diamond-plate on the lower half of the camper, offering protection from errant rocks and debris while towing. Eurovision windows (with bug screens and privacy shades), as well as a roof hatch, provide adequate ventilation. And R16 insulation combined with a 13.5K BTU air conditioner ensures a comfortable living space even in warm climates.

Proprietary Independent Suspension
Black Series has developed its own proprietary independent suspension system that they utilize across their full range of trailers. Engineered and load tested at 40,000 pounds per control arm (on the HQ15), their suspension features dual shock absorbers and coil springs. “Our quad shock design spreads the load across four shocks instead of two, allowing for a smoother ride, safer handling, and longer shock life.” They go on to describe their suspension as the “most robust independent suspension system available.”
