Roadtrek CS Adventurous: top-of the-line 2014 model. Bought in 2020, at the onset of Covid, to provide leisure getaways while avoiding motel stays. We chose it because it clearly had been treated tenderly. We also give the things we own tender loving care, and up-to-date improvements, so this RV is better than the day we bought it.

• All six tires: top-rated Michelin Agilis, new in August 2022.
• Automotive safety systems: Rear video camera, lane departure alarm, side proximity alarm, imminent collision detection, rain-sensing automatic windshield wipers.
• Navigation console: 10” computer tablet. It runs navigation software natively, not requiring your phone.
• Sure Call cell signal booster.
• Battery charging is supported by: 240 watt solar panel all the time, shore power when plugged in, dedicated 280A under-hood generator when driving, and 2.5 KW propane generator as a last resort.
• Compressor-driven refrigerator: draws less than 7A; Electric induction stove, meaning it’s glass surface does not get burning hot; 1000 watt microwave provides 1800 watts convection (i.e. hot like an oven) cooking when you need it.
• Hot water heater is integral to the hydronic cabin heater, which runs on either propane or electric. Provides floor heating as well (a great feel when you get out of bed on a cold night/morning.) Unit wa upgraded to a new Alde 3020 model in July 2023.
• If you take your cat with you: optionally (instead of the third captain’s chair), a custom-made cabinet contains an enclosed litter box behind a cat door, on top is a removable cage with soft net sides where the cat rides, able to see out the windows (If you prefer I will re-install the original captain’s chair.)
• RV Whisper monitoring system transmits (assuming you have implemented full a time cellular modem/internet connection) to your cell phone the van internal temperature, battery voltages and AC status. Alarms send you text messages if anything exceeds your own preset limits.
