RV Description

We bought our 2010 Winnebago Access brand new in March of 2012. Bought this model because of the large bathroom and the side hallway which gave us plenty of sunlight from the large windows.

When our grandkids aren't traveling with us, we use the cabover queen bed to store sleeping bags, books and the ladder to the sleeping area. Thanks to last May's hailstorm, the motorhome's slide covers and the side awning are brand new as of November 2023. There is some minor hail damage to the front hood.

When we went to Alaska in 2014 we had unused storage space in the coach; there really is a lot. Outside storage is adequate for what we needed. We plan on including sewer hose and tow gear in the sale. We clean the roof each year and wash/wax the coach once or twice a year.

There is a propane furnace that works great as well as a 6 gallon water heater that runs off electricity (if you are connected to shore power) or propane. Likewise, the refrigerator runs off either. When we store the coach for the winter I seal all openings so bugs cannot get into the frig or water heater exhaust openings. There are two 12 volt batteries under the step into the coach. A microwave, three burner stove and oven help my wife make great meals while heated grey and black tanks keep things from frezing when the weather gets cold.

Backing up is made easier with the backup camera. Speaking of elcetronics, there are two TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the main seating area. The radio works; the CD player in the dash hasn't worked since we bought the coach and forgot to get it fixed. We don't spend much time watching TV because we're outside hiking or fishing or looking at the scenery or reading a book under the awning.

Give me a call and let me tell you how much we've enjoyed using our Winnebago. Now that we are getting older, we are looking to downsize somewhat but aren't going to give up seeing those sunrises and sunsets from our campsite.
