RV Description

This is a very well cared for and well loved 2003 Holiday Rambler Scepter with 77,000 miles. This coach was ordered brand new by my grandparents and has spent its entire life in Southern California. It is rust-free and has never been in an accident or had any bodywork done.

It has the Cummins 350 hp diesel w/ Allison 6-speed trans and side radiator on the Roadmaster chassis. The generator is an Onan 7500 with 518 hours on the clock. Both slides are on the driver's side and fully painted. The passenger side features one power awning and 2 manual awnings.

My wife and I took possession of the coach from my grandparents when my grandpa was just not physically able to drive it any longer. We have taken several great trips with our 3 young kids and we have truly enjoyed it. Between work and 3 kids all in sports, we just have no time at this stage in life to get much use out of the coach. I'd much rather see it used and cared for by the next owner then for us to get it out once or twice a year at most.

As with an older coach, there are always things that need updating or fixing. I have had engine/trans service done, hydraulic jack system serviced, front A/C fixed, removed old failed Diamond Shield on the front, new tires in 2020 (date code 2019 and they only have a few thousand miles on them).

Overall the exterior and interior are in great condition. The body is fully painted and a buff and wax will really make it pop. The rear bumper does have some clear coat failure but that is really the only area on the whole coach with any noticeable clear coat failure.

The Diamond Shield in the front completely failed and I spent hours removing it. I did take off a couple small chips of paint during this process but had them paint matched and touched up. There is currently no clear film on the front.

I will be happy to answer any questions and will be fully transparent about all its great attributes as well as its faults.
