We previously had a 2009 Dutch Star that we loved. We did our research
again and found the Newmar reputation to be superior.
We have used this 2018 Dutch Star for about 6 years however, I am now 81 years
old and…
Unlike the Dutch Star 4369, the 4362 has a VERY large compartment
located in the back of the coach. I have installed wire racks for storage, but
if the new owner doesn’t want these racks, they can be removed in about
37 seconds.
This coach has a light, bright and cheery Carmel Glazed Cherry wood
interior.

The single largest after-market upgrades that we made to this coach are:
• (16) 200-Watt, 12-volt Solar Panels
• (6) 300 Amp-Hour 12-volt Lithium-Ion Batteries
• (2) Two 3,000 Watt, 12V Inverter/Chargers
Solar Energy Systems (the number one RV solar system supplier and
installer in the U.S.) is located about 3 miles from the Newmar factory.
This system cost us just over $36,000. We love this system! We almost
never had to run our generator when dry camping!
The motorhome proved VERY easy to drive - ask my wife who did most of
the driving! Enclosed is a photo of my wife’s 99-year-old Aunt Betty behind
the wheel! Oh, wait, I guess she never really drove the coach…
TPMS: We had a couple wakeup calls with our previous RVs. This
motorhome uses the Minder Research TPMS for ALL twelve tires.
