RV Description
This 22' Airstream Caravel Travel Trailer is light (5000 GVWR) and nimble with nice high-end amenities: large dining table, a large bathroom, a separate dedicated sleeping space, panoramic windows, on-demand water heater, all-electric refrigerator, composite base floor, convection microwave and a fantastic sound system. We took multiple trips in this Airstream over 14 months, easily traveling across the country without feeling like we were pulling a large trailer.
Because we are impressed with Airstream products and services we will take delivery of a larger model from a dealer very soon. We want to sell the Caravel directly instead of taking the trade-in offered by the dealer.
The 2 rain-detecting/temperature controlled ceiling fans, furnace, heat pump and air conditioner provide comfortable climate control. We have enjoyed camping in cold and warm environments. There is ample storage for longer trips with the closet converted to a panty that holds 10 storage tubs. The Axle, Hubs, Brakes, Tires, and Stove Top were all replaced by Factory Warrenty Service in Jackson Center, OH in September. Dealer applied "First Place Finish" exterior/interior surface protection coating and 5-year transferable warranty. Airstream Elite 4-year Nationwide transferable extended service contract.
