This is a travel trailer that hasn't traveled much. We bought it new in Dallas, TX, moved it to the Oklahoma City area and parked it near Lake Thunderbird. It hasn't moved since, so the tires and axles are in like new condition.

We made several improvements:

• Added a hand rail to the rear entrance.
• Installed towel loops and hooks in the bathroom.
• Increased the storage capacity of the unusually large pantry by hanging racks to the back of the door.
• Replaced the kitchen counter top with genuine hardwood.
• Mounted an oscillating fan on the wall of the master bedroom.

These may seem like small improvements, and they were, but they made a big difference in our enjoyment of the trailer.

The Della Terra has many features that usually are found only on more expensive models. For example, There is extra insulation in the walls; and the floors are insulated, so you can be warm and cozy even when temperatures plummet. There is an outdoor water hose that is handy for showering after a dip in the lake or for washing items used outside before bringing them inside. The 10 cubic foot refrigerator is larger than most RV fridges and runs on either electricity or propane. The matching kitchen appliances are name-brand: Kitchen Aid.

Several other features make this Della Terra an outstanding value:

• A porcelain toilet, which does not retain odors as the plastic ones do.
• There is a sliding door for the shower, not just a curtain.
• The bunks are double, each wide enough for two children.
• The master bedroom bed is king size.
• The jack knife sofa makes into a double bed.
• UBS plugs in the bunks, master bedroom and den are handy for charging your computer or cell phone.
• There are full length storage drawers under the dining benches.
