RV Description

This Wayfarer LW is the top-of-the-line, all-electric, solid natural wood, Class C/B+ RV.

At the moment this vehicle has 2372 miles on it. There has been no personal use of any kind and won't be. This is essentially the mileage it would have on it if you bought it off a lot on the West Coast.

The 2023s are virtually identical to the new 2024s and now and this rig is $30K or so cheaper than a new 2024 (as advertised on RV Trader).

Before I bought this Wayfarer, I gave a lot of thought to how I might modify it for longer-term living. One of the great advantages to the Wayfarer over other Sprinters of this generation is the larger cab-over bunk which can accommodate kids sleeping.

In our case, I had planned to use that space for more kitchen storage. I also equipped the theater seating with an extra post for a full dining, food prep table.

This is an all-electric hydronic heating and hot water vehicle. No propane. Everything works off diesel. If you’re a propane person, this is not the vehicle for you.

I could talk a buyer through the specifics of automating battery management which was not available in 2023.

The tremendous advantage to the LW is the massive side-to-side storage bay. I’ve outfitted it with shelving which the buyer can keep or not. Also, lots of bedroom storage.

The twin bed layout is great for a couple with a doggie! With minor additions, the twin beds can be converted to king.

This vehicle drives like a car, corners effortlessly. The drive home from the dealer to San Diego was in 100-degree heat all the way. The vehicle just motored along, safe-to-handle at speeds that I had to watch, approaching 16-18 miles per gallon. The updated Sprinter cab is vastly more sophisticated in terms of its controls and comfort.

Why am I selling a vehicle I just bought, you might be asking!!? Fair enough.

I own a larger Dynamax DX3 which I thought I wanted to sell in favor of a smaller Sprinter that I knew had a better chance of meeting import specs in Europe. Finally decided I’d rather stay with my more spacious RV here. Just changed my mind. Travel Europe the old-fashion way!

The Wayfarer is a spectacular Class C/B+ but it goes back on the market. The buyer gets a great vehicle with virtually no mileage for a sizeable discount over what a 2024 or now 2024 would cost.
