RV Description

This Wayfarer LW is the top-of-the-line, all-electric, solid natural wood, Class C/B+ RV.

At the moment this vehicle has 2372 miles on it which includes the drive from the dealer in Houston home.   There has been no personal use of any kind and won't be. This is essentially the mileage if you bought it new off a lot on the West Coast.

The 2023s are virtually identical to the new 2024s and now the 2025s.  As dealers are clearing their lots of the unsold 2023s and 2024s, my prices have come down accordingly.   I’m open to some negotiation but only on the margins at this point.

Before I bought this Wayfarer, I gave a lot of thought to how I might modify this rig for longer-term living. One of the great advantages to the Wayfarer over other Sprinters of this generation is the slightly larger cab-over bunk. Streamlining the roof-line by Mercedes significantly reduced the cab-over space.

In our case, I had planned to use that space for more kitchen storage. I also equipped the theater seating with an extra post for a full dining, food prep table.

This is an all-electric hydronic heating and hot water vehicle. No propane. Everything works off diesel. If you’re a propane person, this is not the vehicle for you.

I could talk a buyer through the specifics of battery management which Class Cs rarely offer.

There is solar on the roof but boondocking you need to keep your batteries topped off with your generator. All A/C requires the generator or shorepower.

The tremendous advantage to the LW is the massive side-to-side storage bay. I’ve outfitted it with shelving which the buyer can keep or not. Also, lots of bedroom storage.

With minor modifications, the twin beds can be converted to king.

This vehicle drives like a car, corners effortlessly. The drive home from the dealer was in 100-degree heat all the way. The vehicle just motored along, safe-to-handle at speeds that I had to watch, approaching 16-18 miles per gallon.

The updated Sprinter cab is vastly more sophisticated in terms of its controls and comfort.

Why am I selling a vehicle I bought! and then never used!?

I bought the Sprinter to move to Europe to live and travel in. I thought the Sprinter had a better chance of meeting import specs in Europe than the much larger Dynamax DX3 I also own. A recent trip to France gave me some reason to believe my Dynamax can be imported into France.

The Wayfarer is a spectacular Class C/B+ but it goes back on the market.
