RV Description

A well insulated 2017 Dodge Promaster 2500 campervan. Comfortably sleeps two. The mattress is a custom size and has two sets of custom size sheets. There is an ample size storage area under the bed accessed from the back doors.

The interior living space is outfitted with fine quality cabinets featuring beautiful premium solid wood curly maple doors and black walnut face frames. Six clothing storage compartments, four kitchen cabinets. In addition, there are two covered storage boxes, facing each other; One of these seat boxes is used by us to store a PortaPotty while we travel. These double as seating with a beautiful pull-out table between the two, made of premium Black Walnut, with Purple Heart and Holly accent stripes. When the table is pushed in it looks like a drawer front beautifully accented with Black Walnut, Purple Heart and Holly.

The van features a propane stovetop and oven. This is powered by a standard small propane tank which sits on the ground outside the van and attaches to the system with a 'quick coupler" connector. The propane tank and associated connectors fits in a tote and is carried in the storage bay under the bed while traveling. There is a stainless-steel sink and a Corian counter top. There are two quality 20 gallon “grey water” storage tanks suspended from the underside of the chassis. I have never used these and they are not currently plumbed in for use – but they are there if someone wanted to use them.

The van has a 12-volt interior lighting system that runs off two 6-volt golf cart batteries. A ‘Progressive Dynamics Power Converter’ system, protected by A Progressive Industries RV surge protector, provides 120 volt and 12-volt power as well as “Intelligent” battery charging. The system can be plugged into any 120-volt house circuit as well as a standard RV Park 30-amp power supply.

The van features a roof top 120-volt AC unit and a separate ceiling fan that moves air either in or out. The distance from top of the AC Unit to the ground is 9'2". For safety I would consider the "clearance" to be at least 9'8", better - 9'10" ! I have never had a problem with clearance under gas station canopies. You cannot go into airport long-term parking garages or other parking garages such as municipal parking garages as these typically have 7'6" clearance.

This listing was updated and the van is still available as of 3/29/2024.
