The 2012 Open Range Bunk house is in my opinion, the best built unit that was on the market at the time.
Do a bit of research and you will find it containes all welded aluminum joints, (even the dinette inside) excellent structure and insulation and high quality materials and electronics.
So after years of looking we bought this unit. A few upgrades of my own include; a bumper with a 2 inch receiver, and a blue ox hitch and leveler, and all LED lighting inside.
I pull her with an F150 with no problems.
The only draw back with these early units was a tendency to have delaminating around a seam on the outside where the Filon allowed in moisture. We had the happen due to a hurricane! Though the interior was dry, the exterior started showing the delamination. But, last year I had all the exterior filon replaced (see receipts)! In the picture with the truck, you can see the color tones have shifted from the lower filon being darker then the top, to the replacement filon being lighter than the top band of color.
Look online at the amenities: my favorite is the huge outdoor kitchen, with a fridge, grill, sink and microwave. The a/c was replaced last year with a new dometic unit, the four radials are in their second season. The battery and inverter were new in '22.
There is a crack in the exterior sky light cover but it remains water tight, there are small dings and imperfection consitent with careful use over the last ten years.
The unit has always been covered (a cover is included in the sale) and resides on a concrete pad, plugged in at our home. The awning is original and is nearing its time for a replacment, and we took out the carpeting in the front room and replaced it with faux wood linoleum. The front slide has been recently repaired to replace the bottom panel of the interior.
We are selling because our boys are now in college, and Fort WIlderness has losts its appeal. So it is time for another family to enjoy this unit as much as we have, so please look at the pictures and email with questions.

4. We use an air mattress in the master, so there is no mattress included.
