RV Description

Spectacular 2021 Reatta XL 39BH. Not a simple Reatta but a Reatta XL, big difference. The sweet spot in high-end RVs.

This was the last new 2021 I could find late in February of this year. So practically new and $30K - or more - cheaper than a new 2022 rig if you can find one that's not just on order!

Made three short trips. A third of the miles are the initial transport from the dealer in Virginia to California.

The 2021 is the first year with the Spartan electronic dash.

The rig has AquaHot heated porcelain floors, moisturized coach heat, three A/Cs, autogen. Hard to beat.

I installed 600 amphours of lithium-ion battery and the required Magnum inverter-charger controller. If a buyer wants me to restore the still pristine original 390 amphours of in-series 6 volt AGMs, I could do that, too. I have another use for the lithium-ion and Magnum controller. The price would be adjusted accordingly.

I added an alarm and the Mobile-Eye out-of-lane warning system which stay with the unit

Another of my "improvements" was converting the bunkbeds to an onboard "home-office." I decided most people who want a bunkbed RV probably want the bunkbeds. So I have restored the bunkbeds to their original condition (see photo). If a buyer wants the home-office I could re-install it in no time flat.

The Winegard Trav'ler antenna (which automatically seeks the satellite) has been converted to Dish which you can turn off and on traveling. I have the DirecTV equipment in my garage if DirecTV is your preferred provider. The re-installation of the DirecTV equipment would be on the buyer.

We can talk about things like trays and hooks a new owner might find useful. I’ll throw the collapsible ladder in.

I've taken care of a bunch of typical factory-let-it-go warranty stuff on my watch.

Only reason for selling - I love this rig - is that I cannot move it to Europe as I had originally planned. At its size, it’s just too much for the European "camping" culture and a notoriously cranky bureaucracy.

Thought I could work my way around the 20% or higher European VAT (value-added tax) but didn't happen. Based on the vehicle's MSRP that would be another $70K or so.

Plenty of better uses for the money, smarter ways to put my "rolling home-office" in Europe. Grand Design Solitude fifth-wheeler the likely choice.

Price is negotiable. Depends mostly on what stays, what doesn't.
