This Airstream is truly well named. With the side and rear tents attached, it serves as an ideal basecamp for several days in a State or National Park. The front windows offer a panoramic view.

The factory solar panels along with 2 AGM batteries allow back country camping. In addition to many weekend and extended trips, we have also used it for two cross country trips to see sights and visits friends. It has served us well.

It has Air Conditioning with a heat strip. Kitchen has dual fuel (electric/propane)fridge, 2 burner cooktop, stainless steel sink and microwave. Wet bath with porcelain toilet and pass through for shower head/hose for outdoor showering/cleaning.

2-20 gal propane tanks with front locker.

Outboard propane valve for grill or heater.

Zamp port for additional "suitcase" solar panel.

Combination water heater and forced air cabin heating through 2 ducted vents. SeeLevel II Tank and battery monitor panel and SunExplorer solar charge controller and display.

We pull it with 2 tow vehicles. Jeep Grand Cherokee V6 w/ 6200 lb. tow capacity and Mercedes Metris van turbo 4 cylinder w/5000 lb. capacity. Both tow the Basecamp easily.
