This Chalet was purchased in 2010 by my dad and stepmom for my stepmom to drive as my dad's macular degeneration kept him from driving anymore. They used it to drive between Yuma and Deming, NM, until my stepmother suffered a stroke and then my stepbrother drove them and towed a car to allow him to return home.
It was easy for my stepmother to handle and she loved driving it and was able to get 16 to 18 mpg. After my stepmother died, I became my dad's caregiver and drove him from Yuma and Deming to Indiana twice. Due to bad diesel fuel, we replaced the fuel filter and a different time replaced the coach batteries.

Dad was a former long haul trucker as well as owning his own company so he was very particular about maintenance and was a big fan of Diesel engines and really like the Mercedes. Additionally, the tires were replaced in 2017 and have less than 10,000 miles on them.

Being 24.6 feet long, the Chalet is easily driven and parked and doesn't require a tow vehicle, but as I previously mentioned, the capability is there as my stepbrothe's car was towed. Dad always said the Chalet was handier than a pocket on a shirt and he did like those shirt pockets.

I recently replaced the windshield fluid reservoir, a back up tail bulb, a couple adhesive reflectors and a rooftop light cover. It is ready to go and waiting for a new owner and new adventures.

There are three sleeping areas and it depends on the size and age of people as far as how many can sleep comfortably.
