RV Description

A little less than 2 years ago we (70+ years old husband and wife) purchased this motorhome, to discover motor home living. Our first order of business was to attempt to discover any and all problems that might be present and to fix/repair them.First, we visited our local tire shop resulting in replacing all 6 tires with new ones and replacing all batteries found for the motorhome interior (12v) as well as the engine battery.Next, a visit to local garage, where it was put on a diagnostic machine and which resulted in installation of a new alternator. Then to a very reputable big truck chassis and suspension garage (Auto Spring of Winston Salem) which resulted in 2 new kingpins and, after full inspection, replacement of one suspension leaf. Then we enlisted a local motorhome repair and inspection specialist (name and phone number gladly provided for all serious buyers) to fully inspect the motorhome and to then fix all problems. This resulted in the following:

  • Installation of new Bigfoot self levelling system
  • All 3 slide outs inspected, maintained and repaired where necessary, resulting in a new motor installed in street side slideout. All slide out canopies were also inspected/maintained/repaired where needed.
  • Replacement of porch area canopy
  • Generator inspected and maintained
  • Inspection, and repair if needed, of all plumbing, electrical, gas systems (including heater, stove and refrigerator, water heater, etc.)
  • Inspection and caulking of the roof as well as the 2 roof mounted HVAC units with maintenance or repair if needed
  • Installation of 2 ceiling fan vents covers on roof
  • Inspection, and any needed repairs of all holding tanks including discharge systems
  • All window inspected and repaired (one in master bedroom still being repaired)
  • Extended stay propane gas hose extension added for outside grilling
  • Added TST Windess tire PSI monitor system
In addition:
  • A new queen mattress to replace existing
  • TV and radio systems and speakers were inspected by local technician and new Blu-ray installed
  • Tow hitch package included
All has been inspected, maintained, repaired and made ready for travel. Why are we selling----------I’m sorry to have to say that we began our motorhome education and experience a bit late in our lives.
