We loved traveling and camping with this RV. It is sleek and capable on the road. Our longest trip was 6,100 miles last Fall. Our furthest point was Boise, Idaho; to Yellowstone NP; to Saint Cloud, Minnesota; to Charlotte; and back to Florida.

We enjoyed full hookup camping as well as many beautiful rest areas boondocking the night away, nice and cozy. It was a great driving experience, and even with a few 12-14 hour days of driving, the seats were very comfortable. [Note - The driver chair seat cover is showing wear.] We would find a rest area, get some sleep, fix breakfast, and head back on the road. Utah’s scenic valleys, Idaho’s Sawtooth’s, North Dakota's Theodore Roosevelt NP were all mind blowing. So were the hills of Missouri, Kentucky, and North Carolina. The Triton V-10 did great in the mountains and plains.

The RV handled curves securely and the upgraded suspension made all the difference. Fuel use was good and averaged 10.44 MPG over 36 days.

Preparations for this trip began when we bought it. Handling needed improvement so we started with that. New ball joints in the front helped, but YouTube research led us to better results. Helwig Sway Bars, front and rear, Bilstein shocks, and a Safe-T-Steer stabilizer were installed. Absolute improvement.

We replaced the old awkward reclining seats with Yeti chairs that were more more comfortable and versatile.

We also went through the maintenance records of previous owners. We itemized everything on a spread sheets. 31 maintenance issues and repairs done by the last owner costing $11,499 through Sept.14, 2020.

We added 56 more items to our list, which totaled $12,077. This included a new house battery system with three 100 AH, Li-On Battle Born Batteries, a new Power Converter, and new Ford HD 115 Amp H Alternator to keep it charged properly. Added a new starting battery, serpentine belt, complete tune-up, etc.

The tires had to be replaced with six new, commercial graded, 10 ply Michelin, All Weather tires. Strong and smooth riding! We added the Garmin RV 785 GPS, with front and rear camera capability, plus collision alert and stray lane warning. Big help on the road!
