Over the years we've had a so many great adventures with our Scamp, but now it's time to sell it. The kids are getting older and not as into camping as they used to be. If you don't have a heavy duty vehicle, Scamps are the trailer to get. They're so light (950 lbs.) that just about any vehicle can pull them. We pulled ours with a 4 cylinder CRV for years. They're so simple and well designed that it's never given us any problems. You don't have to worry about the engine wearing out, the mold and tears popups are prone to, or it falling apart because it's cheaply made. There is a reason Scamp hasn't changed their design in decades!The Scamp is in great shape. Everything except the heater works. We never bothered to fix it because the trailer is so well insulated. It's warm and toasty even on cold nights. The bearings have always been repacked by professionals. The trailer sleeps four. The dinette folds down into a bed that sleeps two and there is a bench that turns into bunk beds. There is a stove, refrigerator, sink, and plenty of storage. All the electrical can be run off a hookup or battery. The refrigerator is electric or gas which gives you the option of getting off the beaten track.
