Over the last year the wife and I toured the country in this 22ft touring van - 47000 miles. Built on the Ford Transit chassis with the 3.5 V6 Eco-boost gas engine which averages between 14 and 15 mpg. It is a rear wheel drive with dualies. It has Sumo shocks for a smooth stable ride. We also just put 6 new Michelin all weather tires and a new state inspection sticker on it.The Li3 battery system provides 600 amp hrs for days of boondocking. The 2nd alternator tops battery off within a few of hours of driving. It also has 2 - 100 watt solar panels on the roof and a WiFi Ranger.It has the 22k btu Premier Turbo Air II AC. And a microwave, refrigerator, freezer, induction cooktop and smart TV. It is equipped with a 3000 watt inverter with multiple 110v outlets and USB ports for plenty of additional electrical appliances and electronics.It has a three seat rear couch that makes into a comfortable queen size bed. It also has a wet bath with shower, toilet, and Truma hot water heater and furnace. It has a 27 gallon fresh water tank and 13 gallon grey and black tanks.For winter trips it has upgraded insulation in the walls and rear doors and tank heaters. And also has upgraded front window covers. The trailer hitch is rated for 5k lbs with both 4 and 7 point connections.For additional convenience, we added several small mods such as 3 under cabinet storage keeper/baskets, a collapsible countertop extender, and a shower rod extender. Also added rear wire closet shelving to provide more storage in the rear section.Included are many after market utility items such as Watchdog power conditioner, inlet water hoses and filters, and tank dumping hose and hardware.All in all this is a very nice camper van.
