RV Description

PENDING AS OF DEC 27. WILL REMOVING LISTING IF/WHEN SALE FINAL.

This 2015 Winnebago ERA 70A Touring Coach, V6 Turbo Diesel only has 22,650 highway miles, is in excellent condition inside and out and has always been serviced by Winnebago and Mercedes. This diesel engine is barely broken in and the Onan LP Generator only has 15 hours on it. She’s named Winnie… not very original I know!

I bought Winnie in April 2021 with 12,500 miles on her and toured for ~10K miles this summer. This is my 3rd RV since the pandemic started: the 1st was a 20' Airstream Travel Trailer (to small), the 2nd was a LTV Unity MB (to big), the Mercedes Sprinter 3500 based ERA is just right! So easy to drive, and you can drive and park her pretty much anywhere. And she gets ~17.4 mpg on the highway at 75 mph max speed (I drive conservatively). Winnie has plenty of storage space including overhead cabinets, a wardrobe, fully functional kitchen and a very spacious garage which comfortably fits storage bins, chairs & tables, a 17" Blackstone Griddle and a bag of golf clubs.

So… why am I selling her? I am upgrading to a Mercedes Sprinter 3500 based 2021 Coachmen Galleria 24FL Li3 4x4 with every possible option including an air bag suspension system. I pick up my new Galleria in AZ after Thanksgiving and will be taking a couple of weeks roaming my way back to Orlando. So I won't be available to show Winnie until the week before Christmas.

There is plenty of info that you can watch on YouTube… so I won’t bore you with technical specs. Upgrades include new AGM house batteries, new chassis battery and a new custom suspension system designed by Van Compass, which includes Bilstein B6 front struts, Falcon 2.1 monotube rear shocks, and Sumo springs all around (HUGE improvement). Brakes are good and tires have plenty of thread left. I also had the Blu-Tech and rear tire speed sensor recalls taken care of. My local Mercedes Dealership is very familiar with Winnie, and I also paid a Dealership in NJ to fully inspect her when I purchased her in April.

Asking $99,500 OBO. When comparing versus others, please keep in mind that Winnie has new batteries all around and a new custom suspension system which every older Sprinter needs, so budget for it if others don't have it!

Please send an email if interested. I will schedule showings in order of inquiries received. Winnie is in covered storage in Deland, FL.
