We bought new in 2009. It is a rare front-engine diesel bunk model (the advantages to front-engine diesel are lower cost, no cooling problems ever, and locating the generator in the rear makes it quiet when gathering in the main living area). We used it while our kids grew up as competitive skiers; most of our use has been in the winter all over the Northwest. All tanks are in the heated volume of the coach and extra heat tape is applied to the water pump. We have had no problems down to -40°F. We added extra batteries (also in heated compartments) to allow the furnace to run all night and still make coffee on the inverter in the morning without starting the generator.

The bulletproof Freightliner CustomChassis has a 300hp/600ft-lb Cummins ISB turbo diesel and Allison 6-speed World transmission. About once a year we tow our 5,500 lb. boat to Lake Powell or the Columbia Gorge and you can't tell it is there; it pulls the hills very well for a setup this size. The exhaust brake is a game-change for driving in the mountains.

Interior quality is typical for this class of coach, but clean, comfortable, livable, and well maintained. I installed a receiver hitch on the front for easy boat launching, or mounting a bike rack or cargo carrier. I always run Rotella full-synthetic oil, and I installed a quick drain to make oil changes easier and less-messy. Our kids have moved out and we have downsized to a Class-B Sprinter so my wife will be more confident taking it on her own.

At $89K, I believe this is the newest, least-expensive Class-A diesel bunk model for sale in the US. Text or email is best.

Will deliver at no charge in western US.
