The Winnebago Fuse is a compact, economical and easy-to-drive RV. It bridges the gap between a Class B and Class C motorhome: small enough to park nearly anywhere, yet large enough to furnish every comfort. It has nearly twice the fuel economy of most other motorhomes, yet easily accelerates into highway traffic. Designed to appeal to couples (but can sleep four), the Fuse is built on the easily-maintained and fun-to-drive Ford Transit chassis. It has smooth 3.2 diesel engine that delivers an average of 17 mpg. The Fuse Coach shares many functional and comfort features with its senior Winnebago kin: large compressor refrigerator; cooktop and microwave oven; large fresh-water and gray/black holding tanks; 20,000 BTU furnace; queen bed slide-out; convertible table/sofa; automatic MaxFan; 13,500 BTU quiet a/c; motorized awning; generous inside and outside storage; LED lighting throughout; two HDTVs; Jensen stereo/CD player; and much more. Several additional features make this Fuse especially suitable for overnighting independent of formal campgrounds: two large, sealed, service-free AGM batteries paired with 200 watts of roof-mounted solar panels, as well as a Cummins 2500 watt LP generator. Also, for those who work on-the-go, the large table comprises an ideal work station as it is generously supplied with power and USB outlets. The chassis features several Ford upgrades, including a GPS navigation system, a high-fidelity radio with Sirius, back-up camera, lane-keeping, and more. Dual wheels on the rear axle assists in providing a confident ride, and assures that the Fuse can go where other vehicles may not venture. A low center of gravity assures stable handling in a cross-wind or in the turbulence of a passing 18-wheeler. Put into service in May of 2019, the Ford chassis continues under warranty. The coach also is covered by a comprehensive 5-year, 60,000 mile Winnebago extended warranty (transferable to a new owner). Built in December of 2018, the coach benefits greatly from a model change that incorporated several functional upgrades derived from owner recommendations and experiences. Our Fuse has been meticulously maintained, and incorporates several important value-added upgrades. The odometer currently reads 8,010 miles. It has recently been serviced / checked out by Ford as well as the Winnebago factory service center. The owners are not smokers; nor do they have pets. Maintenance records are available for inspection.
