RV Description

We are selling a 28’ 2000 Cardinal fifth wheel by Forest River. We have owned the RV for two years and are the 3rd owners. The two previous owners and ourselves have only used the RV for short trips to the Dworshak Dam for two-to-three-week vacations. We have gone through the entire RV and replaced or upgraded all the major components. We are primarily selling the RV as it is more weight than we care to haul long distances with our present truck. The 28RKB boasts a large kitchen area/countertop space and a sleeper sofa, dinette table and 4 chairs, queen size bed and most important to us was the Artic pack feature (4 seasons package). During this year’s exhaustive 110-degree temperatures we maintained a comfortable 75 degrees in the RV during the heat of the day and 70 degrees at night. All repairs were professionally completed by Travelland R.V. in Lewiston. The propane furnace was completely rebuilt and operates perfectly. The dual fuel hot water tank was also serviced with new electric heating element. The 10-gallon tank easily kept up with hot water demand for showers. The electrical system was completely serviced with new inverter installed, two new marine batteries, lamp kits, etc installed as needed. Additionally, a new breakaway assembly was installed as well. The dual fuel refrigerator was replaced 5 years ago and the front slide out ram was replaced at about the same time. The brakes were recently inspected and serviced along with packing the bearings, new seals were installed. The brakes have approximately 60% life remaining. Perfection Tire just installed 4 new trailer tires – ST225/75R15 Radial Tire. Last year we installed a new awning and this year we recoated the roof system with two coats of Black Jack white elastomeric roof coating. All roof penetrations were pre-sealed with EPDM rubber roofing. This year we started into our remodeling project with phase one being a new Mannington Laminate floor system throughout. The new floor system cost over $1000 just for the materials. This floor gave the RV a beautiful and much more practical upgrade from its prior blue carpet. We also cleaned and repaired all of the day/night shades. If we keep the RV, we will be updating all the furnishing as they are original and dated as can be seen in the photos. The following defects are disclosed: the kitchen sink left side basin has a small crack that has been sealed with caulk. One of the bedroom mirrors is cracked. The screen door panel is loose and duct tap
